International relations is essential part of any respected university. Modern education has no boundaries and one of its major tasks is to open the world to the young people by creating multiple possibilities for sharing information, ideas, experiences internationally. Our center is a TFU's task force for provision of students and faculties exchange, collaborative research, and expanding academic network internationally. We have international team that bring their efforts to: coordinate exchange study, manage and maintain the relations with our partners, actively participate in international research and educational networks. Our mission is to facilitate the environment where young people could learn to think globally and expand Tohoku Fukushi University's presence on international scene.

Sugai Kuniaki, Director 菅井 邦明
Professor Sugai has extencive background in International relations through his work at Tohoku University. His scientific interests are in special education.
Saito Senpo, Vice Director 斉藤 仙邦
Professor Senpo is an academician and budhist monk at the same time. He has been studying Western Philosophy and Buddhism, and now applies his knowledge to comprehend the essence of Social Welfare.
Okura Mineo, Vice Director 大倉 峰雄
Associate Professor Okura is originally from China. He is academician and athlete. As a former All Japan table tennis champion he has been successfully leading TFU table tennis team for many years.
Starkey Brian, International Coordinator
Mr. Starkey specializes in linguistics. He is from US and makes a great contribution for TFU by teaching English and coordinating international exchange programs.
Sansan Su, International Coordinator 蘇 姗姗
Ms. Sansan is from China. She is a former TFU graduate and is responsible for TFU relations with Chinese counterparts.
Sekiyama Chiaki, Program Manager 関山 千明
Ms. Sekiyama is a TFU graduate. As an only Japanese staff member of our center Ms. Sekiyama spends very busy days coordinating and assisting the work of our international team.
